Hauser & Wirth Somerset 'Day of the Garden'
10 days of talks, demonstrations and displays staged at the Hauser and Wirth Gallery and Gardens complex in Bruton, Somerset from 11th September. Check Hauser and With Somerset website for full details. Saturday 16th September will be a day of outdoor displays, specialist product and plant stalls relating to matters of the garden and landscape. Orchard Dene Nurseries will be in attendance and offering plants for sale which particulalry relate to the style of planting used by Piet Oudolf in the gallery gardens.

Nursery Trade Open Days
On Thursday 7th and Friday 8th September we shall be opening nursery doors to encourage trade customers to view the new season planting stock. The colours are vibrant and full, the opportunities to conceive new planting combinations for the autumn are many. Spend a constructive and happy hour walking the beds and tunnels and discussing any specific planting issues directly with the growers. We look forward to welcoming establilshed and new customers alike. Refreshments available. Visitors welcome from 09.30 til 16.30 on each day.

Gardens Illustrated Garden Festival
The GI Garden Festival in Malmesbury opens with an evening forum featuring a topical dialogue between Dan Pearson and Troy Scott Smith centred on their collaboration in the development of Sissinghurst Gardens. Durslade Farm Opens
Durslade Farm Galleries, Shop, Restaurant and Bar open to the public. Extensive Prairie Meadow designed by Piet Oudolf, and planted using Orchard Dene plants, will open later in September this year. Over 30,000 herbaceous plants and grasses were grown to tight contract specifications by Orchard Dene Nurseries.
